Proclamations and Letters of Support

The National Environmental Education Foundation solicits gubernatorial and mayoral proclamations designating Public Lands Day in their states.

Thirty-three governors and 21 mayors issued proclamations in 2009. Site Managers often play a key role in helping secure proclamation.
