American Fork Canyon
We will be having 2 different event days. September 11, 2010 will be an event for non-motorized users and motorcyclists. We will doing work on the South Fork of Little Deer Creek Trail, which is one the most popular trails in American Fork Canyon among hikers, mountain bikers, and motorcyclists. We will be fixing some drainage issues along the trail and building drainage structures, and also fix any areas on the trail that needs attention. This is a great opportunity for the different user groups to come together and accomplish good work that will benefit all user groups. The September 25 event will be focused on OHV users. We will be doing work on Schaffer Fork Road en route to Forest Lake which is a popular OHV route. Projects include removing old fences, possibly building sections of fence, shutting down illegal routes and rehabilitation.
