Crosby Farm Regional Park, St. Paul

In celebration of National Public Lands Day, REI is partnering with the National Park Service and St. Paul Parks & Recreation to hold a habitat restoration event at Crosby Farm Regional Park along the Mississippi River. A light breakfast including coffee and volunteer wicking t-shirts will be provided. ACTIVITY: We will be working in a forested area on a gentle slope in the park. We will be hauling pre-cut buckthorn trunks and branches out of the forested area. Buckthorn is an invasive species that over time has severely degraded the native ecosystem along the river. Event is from 9:30am-12pm. Please register at the link or www.rei.com/bloomington.
