National Public Lands Day is coordinated with efforts from the National Environmental Education Foundation. The success that NPLD has seen is a result of the collaborative efforts with partnering organizations, including corporate sponsors Toyota, Northrop Grumman and others. NPLD has a long-standing partnership with eight federal land management agencies, as well as many state, city and other local parks departments. National and local nonprofit partners and conservation groups participate each year.
